Today I am having all my teeth extracted and will be getting dentures. I'm super scared but at the same time I am very excited that I will no longer have the constant pain and fatigue I have had for years and years. I know that I will feel so much better physically and emotionally and that I will have the energy to do more fun things with my girl. So, I thought I would let everyone know that today is the big day that we have been waiting for!! Wish me luck...Wednesday, April 30, 2008

Kaylee is doing great. We spent the night at grandma and grandpas. She loves being outdoors so it's nice when we go there because she can hang out and play in the back yard. She loves the pond and Sugar-Ray the cat. She still likes to grab and squeeze him so for now she watches at a distance. I put some new photos at the bottom of the blog. Check them out!

My Girl

Kaylee had her check up yesterday, she is doing great, her ears are completely clear and she weighs 16 pounds 13 ounces. 2 pounds since last month! Solids are great, her favorite foods are Peas, Sweet Potatoes, and bananas. And she likes playing my keyboard. We even recorded it. I hope she loves piano as much as I do. It what be great to have a little piano player. It reminds me of when I was little and I'd play my grandma Billie's piano with her.
Getting Away for a Day...

Last Monday, the three of us went to Sunset Beach for a little while. This beach is very special to me. My dad's ashes were scattered here in 1989, so I like to go and maybe throw some flowers into the water. I hadn't been out there though since I had Kaylee. It was pretty windy so we didn't stay too long but we found lots of great shells which I'm adding to my shadow box and Kaylee seemed to be pretty amazed by it all. Even though we live right by the ocean we really haven't taken her out on the sand and to see the water so this was a first for her. After, we decided to drive to Gilroy and see where Brian grew up and where is dad's ashes had been scattered. Sadly though the tree was no longer there and the whole area was changed with new houses. But it was still neat for me to learn more about where he grew up. It was a really fun day and then we came home the three of us watched a movie. That was great just because Kaylee never is content long enough for Brian and I both to watch a movie at the same time. I feel very blessed for my little family and my wonderful life.
Girlfriends

We spent another night with Renee and Cherry last week, and the girls are starting to play with eachother more. Kaylee was a bit taken back at first but now smiles when she see's Cherry. The four of us go for walks a few times a week together also and the girls will talk back and forth and laugh in their strollers. Its pretty funny.
